Julie Berry, children's book author
Julie Berry grew up in Medina, NY. She now lives near Boston, but travels often to western New York to do school author visits, public readings, and signings. She is the author of THE AMARANTH ENCHANTMENT (2009, Bloomsbury), a fairy-tale fantasy and Junior Library Guild selection, as well as SECONDHAND CHARM (2010, Bloomsbury). With her sister, Sally Faye Gardner, she is co-creator of SPLURCH ACADEMY FOR DISRUPTIVE BOYS, a series published by Penguin Books for Young Readers, beginning 2010. The first three titles are THE RAT BRAIN FIASCO, CURSE OF THE BIZARRO BEETLE, and THE COLOSSAL FOSSIL FREAKOUT. More titles will soon follow.
