Step into the spotlight and take your training to the next level with Perfecting the Craft: Learning to Be a Triple Threat. This one-week camp is designed exclusively for dedicated kid performers who are ready to refine their skills and prepare for the next stage in their theatrical journey. This camp is perfect for those interested in taking theatre seriously and exploring the next steps in their theatrical journey.
Led by OFC instructors you know and love, students will dive deep into the three pillars of performance — acting, singing, and dance — while gaining essential tools to focus on in the new school year. Throughout the week, campers will be focused on choosing material that’s appropriate for their age, making big choices on stage, acting through song with the text of songs, monologue and scene work, connecting to the physicality of character and style of the material, and building character relationships with other actors.
There are no auditions, pre-requirements or showcases for this program, this camp is focused on "process-based" performing, and how we become better actors, singers and dancers. However, campers should have prior theatre experience and motivated to grow as performers.
