This camp is an opportunity for your child to get in touch with their imagination. Come explore surprising worlds of all shapes and sizes while learning new perspectives for building original, in-depth fictional realities through creative writing. Writers’ tools, such as maps, “rules,” characters, and illustrations will help bring these worlds to life as campers begin crafting their own stories. In the mornings, we’ll make our way through the alphabet and write about our individual topics for each letter, while learning the building blocks of poetry: metaphor, rhyme, simile, and more.
